        Ring twister

        The plied yarn drawn from the bobbin is output from the guide roller through the guide rod and traverse guide device, and wound on the bobbin through the yarn guide hook and coil. When the spindle drives the bobbin to rotate together, the yarn drives the traveler to rotate on the ring ring ring to twist the yarn.

        Most of the bobbins on the bobbin stand are looped on the plug-in spindle in the form of lying horizontally, and the plied yarn drags the bobbin to rotate and unwind from the side. In order to reduce the breakage caused by excessive tension during unwinding of single yarn, the cone-shaped bobbin is tightly sheathed on the plug-in spindle, and the single yarn is drawn out axially from the respective bobbin ends, and the blending is realized in the feeding frame. In general, it is only suitable for spinning double ply yarn with low quality requirements. The guide roller is usually a pair of smooth round rollers. The lower roller is a section of 6-8 spindles, which is inlaid with the whole length. Each spindle of the upper roller is pressurized by its own weight and is driven by friction of the lower roller. There is a certain winding method for the ply yarn on the roller, so that there is a long enough friction arc between the yarn and the roller, so that the roller can deliver the yarn to the twisting area at a uniform speed. In some cases, two lower rollers or even two pairs of rollers are used on the special thick ply yarn or double twist twister to adapt to the high twisting tension and achieve the purpose of uniform yarn feeding. In the roller part, some twisters are equipped with automatic stop device for broken ends. In some twisters, there is a water trough under the yarn guide rod, and the water is applied before twisting the plied yarn, which is called wet twist twister. Wet twisted yarn has the advantages of high strength and smooth surface, but antirust materials should be used for roller and guide frame parts.

        The winding forming mechanism of ring twister is mostly the same as that of ring spinning frame. The ring plate is driven by the forming cam to move up and down in a short range. After each lifting, the position rises to a certain height, so that the pipeline is wound into a conical cross winding package. Double side bobbins are often used in the production of heavy ply yarn or on a double twist twister. The density and capacity of the package can be increased by a single slow lifting of the ring plate. The main difference between traditional fancy twister and common twister is in the feeding part. The mechanism and motion of the feeding part are different with different kinds of fancy yarn.

        Wing twister

        The flyer is the main twisting part. Except for the feeding part, the other mechanisms are similar to those of the suspension type wing spinning frame, which are commonly used for jute twisting.

        Double twist twister

        With double twist spindle as the main twisting machine, each rotation can add two twists to the plied yarn. There are three kinds of twister spindles, vertical spindles, horizontal spindles and oblique spindles. It is composed of a rotating part such as a spindle rod, a spindle plate and a yarn storage disc, and a fixed part such as a yarn container and a hollow spindle tube. The fixed part is sheathed on the outside of the rotary part, which is connected with the rolling bearing. The spindle disc is driven by the Dragon belt or spindle belt to drive the yarn storage disc to rotate together. In order to ensure that the fixed part is not affected by the rotating part, the braking device of the yarn container is generally installed. There are three braking modes: magnetic braking, gravity braking and mechanical braking. The plied yarn is drawn out from the top of the hollow spindle tube, goes through the side hole of the yarn storage disc, and is wound on the bobbin through the yarn guide hook and output roller. When the spindle or storage disc rotates for one circle, one additional twist is added to the air ring part of the yarn in the hollow spindle tube and between the side hole of the storage disc and the yarn guide hook. When the direction is the same, two twists are obtained. The spinning speed of this kind of twister is as high as 14000 rpm, the twisting efficiency is doubled, and the bobbins with large capacity can be directly made. The number of doffing is reduced, but the power consumption is large and the joint operation is difficult.
